Originally from Washington state, Rachel earned her speech and language pathology degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. She completed her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2018 and her master’s degree in speech and language pathology in 2021. During her 5 years of clinical experience, she has trained in early intervention and school settings, and worked in private practice settings across Oregon and Washington. Rachel’s diverse experiences have fostered a clinical foundation for individualized and neurodiversity affirming care.
Rachel is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a state license to practice in Washington state. She is committed to continuing education and plans to attend trainings this year on treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and using a natural language acquisition (NLA) framework. Rachel strives to make therapy both engaging and functional for all clients.
Rachel has clinical focuses in the following areas: Speech sound delays and disorders, receptive and expressive language delay/disorder, stuttering, social communication, caregiver coaching, and gestalt language processing
