Below are toys we frequently use during therapy. It should be noted that play therapy is NOT about the toys, it’s about what you do with them. Many of our sessions involve play with items found outside, well loved items brought from home, and items that are not necessarily produced for play (e.g., cardboard boxes, silicone kitchen utensils, etc.). With that in mind, here are some of the toys that seem to get a lot of attention in the speech therapy room.
